Jefferson's in-house temp service, JeffTemps, is searching for multiple Sterile Processing Supervisors to support our Center City campus.

Hours: M - F 5:30am - 1:00pm OR Sunday - Thursday, 9:00am - 6:30pm

Job Description

The Supervisor of Sterile Processing is responsible for coordinating and facilitating assigned shift operations and services provided to our customers. The Supervisor assists with coordination and oversight of work and work assignments for staff processing, distributing sterile materials, and/or Case Cart. They oversee quality control in the sterile processing department, including diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems and managing surgical instruments. The Supervisor demonstrates the Jefferson leadership philosophy, leads staff, and assists the department manager with human resources tasks such as staff planning, team building, and performance management to foster excellence and teamwork. They maintain a high level of internal visibility in supervising the department, and are responsible for staff training and development. Additionally, the Supervisor interviews job applicants, has direct reports, completes annual performance appraisals for direct reports, and handles disciplinary actions as appropriate.
