Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Sterile Processing Associate for our Integrated Service Center in Omaha, NE. This full-time role supports perioperative services by ensuring proper decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of instruments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with high school education or equivalent.
• Experience in sterile processing or surgical technologist training preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Aptitude for electronics troubleshooting and basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Operate steam, EO, and plasma sterilization equipment as required.
• Provide support to Perioperative services and liaise with surgical teams.
