Job summary

Under supervision, you will re-process surgical equipment per manufacturer guidelines, maintain inventory of processed supplies, and assist the sterile core to meet the surgical teams' needs. On-call report time requires a 45-minute driving distance.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, inspection, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable instruments and equipment for surgical and other procedures.
• Cleaning, packaging and re-processing of re-usable surgical equipment and scopes per manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Maintaining inventory and storage of processed supplies.
• Meeting the needs of the surgical team through support of activities in the sterile core.
• Candidates must live within a 45-minute drive to campus to meet on-call report time requirements.
