Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years instrumentation experience or completion of accredited sterile processing program.
• Certification through HSPA or CBSPD within one year of hire.
• Knowledge of sterilization modalities, processing systems, and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced, multistep sterilization and processing to support the operating room teams.
• Clean, package, and re-process surgical instruments and scopes per IFU.
• Maintain inventory and storage of processed supplies.
• Support sterile core activities for the surgical team.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, AAMI, OSHA and related standards.
