Job summary
The Service Line Coordinator at MUHA oversees decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of instrumentation for designated surgical specialties. The role requires CRCST certification, a minimum of three years in Sterile Processing, and experience with instrument tracking software,
Qualifications
- CRCST certification is required.
- Minimum of three years of Sterile Processing experience.
- Demonstrated competency with specialty surgical instrumentation.
- Experience with instrument tracking software.
- Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of instrumentation.
- Ensure instrument readiness and standardization for scheduled and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, OR staff, vendors, and Sterile Processing leadership to ensure patient safety.
- Manage quality assurance and inventory of instrumentation for assigned service lines.
