Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field or equivalent education and experience.
CRST certification (IAHCSMM) or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
Lean Six Sigma or industrial engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set department strategy with senior and perioperative leadership and track performance goals.
Communicate department policies on sterilization and high-level disinfection to staff and clinicians.
Oversee decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, HLD, and instrument readiness across sites.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and update policies accordingly.
Lead policy development to support organizational goals and manage emergencies.
Work with Infection Prevention to maintain infection control standards.
Monitor finances and drive cost savings while maintaining quality.
Coordinate instrument standardization and equipment maintenance across locations.
Supervise managers and educators; hire, train, and document competencies.
Resolve HR matters and implement disciplinary processes when needed.
