Job summary

Grant Medical Center is seeking a Sterile Processing Operations Manager to lead the SPD department across one or more sites. You will ensure evidence-based practice, manage staff, and drive cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, or related field; 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• High School Diploma/GED with 7–10 years of relevant experience; 2–3 years in supervision.
• 2–5 years management experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience in Sterile Processing or related field.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily SPD department operations and staffing.
• Hire, train, and evaluate SPD staff per HR policies.
• Manage budgets and inventory, ensuring cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital teams to improve quality of care.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in surveys.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and professional development.
