Atrium Health Wake Forest's western community affiliates, including Hugh Chatham Health in Elkin and Wilkes Medical Center, seek a Sterile Processing Manager to lead OR Sterile Processing Departments. The role emphasizes 24/7 strategic leadership, operational oversight, and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple sites in western NC.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, experience in sterile processing leadership, and active certification (CBSPD/IAHCSMM).

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) required; leadership/management certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise OR SPD technicians and staff to meet performance and quality goals.
• Manage decontamination, sterilization, high-level disinfection and inventory for OR SPD.
• Present data to senior leadership and collaborate with OR teams to improve workflows.
• Ensure compliance with CMS, TJC, AAMI, AORN and APIC standards.
• Coach and train staff; schedule and manage budgets and staffing.
