Atrium Health Wake Forest’s western community affiliates are seeking a Sterile Processing Manager to lead OR SPD across Hugh Chatham Health in Elkin, North Wilkesboro, and Alleghany Health in Sparta. You will provide 24/7 strategic leadership, direction, and operational oversight for OR sterile processing, including decontamination and sterilization processes.

Responsibilities include supervising SPD staff, ensuring compliance with CMS, TJC, AAMI, AORN and APIC, and optimizing workflow,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required; manage day-to-day operations of busy central sterile/sterile processing department.
• Expert knowledge in sterilization and high-level disinfection processes.
• Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile (CBSPD or IAHCSMM) with SPD Leadership certification within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise OR SPD technicians and staff to meet performance and quality goals.
• Present data to senior leadership and collaborate with OR personnel to improve workflows.
