Baptist Health in Lexington, KY is seeking a Manager of Sterile Processing to oversee the 24-hour reprocessing of instrumentation, supervise SPD staff, and ensure compliance with accreditation and licensure.

The role emphasizes high-level disinfection, staff mentorship, quality improvement, budget management, and maintaining positive relationships with patients and physicians. Experience in sterile processing leadership and certification preferred; computer skills required.

Qualificações

• Two to four years recent leadership and clinical experience required.
• Central sterile training or specialty certification preferred.
• Computer experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and coordinate distribution of patient-ready supplies and reprocessing of reusable instrumentation on a 24-hour basis.
• Orient and train SPD staff; provide continuing in-service education.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO/CMS accreditation and state licensure requirements.
• Mentor/preceptor to staff; establish quality-improvement mechanisms.
• Manage budget and ensure positive customer relations.
