Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for night-shift, full-time work in Murfreesboro, TN. You will lead decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instruments in accordance with AAMI standards and regulatory guidelines, ensuring readiness of case carts and inventory for every procedure.

You will hire, train, and evaluate staff while applying quality assurance audits to drive productivity and workflow excellence in a hospital sterile processing

Qualifications

• Experience supervising sterile processing workflow.
• Knowledge of AAMI standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Ability to manage inventory and case carts to support operating room readiness.
• Experience hiring, training and evaluating staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments per AAMI standards.
• Oversee preparation of case carts and inventory to ensure operating team has resources for each procedure.
• Lead hiring, training and performance evaluation, using QA audits to improve productivity and workflow.
