Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Nights-shift Sterile Processing Technician at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. You will disinfect, assemble and sterilize instruments across orthopedic, neuro, and vascular procedures, while recording tests and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Central Processing Certification from HSPA is required.
• Experience as Sterile Processing Technician is required.
• Preferred CER or CIS certification through HSPA.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, decontaminate and disinfect surgical instruments.
• Identify, assemble, wrap, label and sterilize instruments for multiple specialties.
• Test and record sterilization equipment performance; maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with OR staff to manage priority needs and errors.
• Teach and precept students and new SPD staff in competencies.
