Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of sterile processing technician experience or related sterile processing required.
• CRT-Sterile Processing Distribution Tech (CSPDT) certification required.
• CRCST certification required; additional CIS/CER/CHL/CFER/CSPM licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workflow of Sterile Processing Technicians and equipment issues per policies and AAMI standards.
• Contribute to staff evaluations and support on-shift staff development.
• Serve as a role model for processing of instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Inspect, disinfect, assemble, process and distribute patient care instruments and supplies.
