Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience as sterile processing technician or surgical technologist preferred.
• Must demonstrate organization and communications skills and be able to anticipate instrument needs for scheduled cases.
• Must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills in a Windows environment.
• Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Must possess a personal presence that aligns with Trinity Health values.

Responsibilities

• Aid, promotes, and facilitates surgical instruments/equipment across all specialties.
• Coordinates and monitors assigned activities within central sterile processing for efficiency.
• Serve as liaison between central sterile processing and other departments as departmental resource.
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for central sterile processing staff.
• Manage vendor room and loaner tray program.
