Job summary

Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to support evening operations. The role requires CRCST/HSPA or CBSPD certification eligibility within three months and at least three years of related experience.

A $3000 signing bonus is available where eligible, with full-time hours 2pm-10:30pm. Responsibilities include supervision, regulatory compliance, processing and sterilization of instruments, and staff guidance in absence of management.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience (Required).
• Certification as Sterile Processing Technician - HSPA or CBSPD (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supervision and management activities in the department.
• Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and Department of Health regulations.
• Perform decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of instruments.
