Job summary

Geisinger Wyoming Valley is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for the Night shift (10:30pm–7am) in GWV, USA. A $3,000 signing bonus is available if eligible.

The role requires CRCST or CBSPD certification, four years of related work experience, and at least one year in a supervisory capacity, plus CIS or CER and CHL or the ability to obtain within six months of hire. The supervisor will oversee Central Sterile Supply operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage staff training,

Qualifications

• CRCST from Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or CBSPD certification is required.
• Four years related work experience.
• One year supervisory experience.
• Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Endoscopy Reprocessor (CER) AND Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the operations and personnel of Central Sterile Supply.
• Maintains compliance with Joint Commission and Department of Health.
• Ensures decontamination, cleaning, inspection and sterilization of reusable supplies.
• Provides instructions and in-service in new products, procedures, case cart preparation, and equipment.
• Maintains instrument asset inventory and oversees department workflow.
