Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor for weekends (Fri–Sun, 7am–7:30pm) with a $1,500 signing bonus if eligible. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and active CRCST certification through HSPA or CBSPD, or grandfathering guidelines.

Minimum 3 years of related experience is required, with duties including decontamination, sterlization, and supervising staff in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCST certification through HSPA or CBSPD, or state grandfathering guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily supervision and management activities in the department.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and Department of Health regulations.
• Oversee decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment.
• Direct work of others in the absence of management.
• Support staffing, planning and operational function management across areas.
• Investigate and address intra- and interdepartmental issues and complaints.
