Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Shift Supervisor to oversee daily SPD operations and ensure technicians follow department policies. You will monitor productivity and quality, and assist the SPD Manager with budget monitoring.

Ideal candidates have CRCST or CBSPD certification, 9 months SPD or Surgery experience, and strong communication skills. CoxHealth offers a mission-driven environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Required: 9 months experience in SPD or Surgery
• Preferred: 2 years’ experience in SPD or Surgery
• CRCST or CBSPD certification; CHL must be obtained within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily SPD operations and ensure policy adherence
• Ensure technician productivity and product quality
• Assist SPD Manager with budget monitoring and planning
• Troubleshoot safety, instrument and equipment issues
• Maintain rapport with medical staff and other departments
