Qualifications

• Professional CPS experience in Central Processing/Sterile Processing.
• CRCST certification is required.
• Ability to teach both classroom concepts and hands-on skills.
• Experience in higher education or trade schools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and hands-on laboratory instruction per curriculum.
• Teach sterile processing concepts: decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, packaging, storage, distribution, infection prevention, QA.
• Demonstrate proper use of CPS equipment, PPE, and instruments.
• Prepare students to demonstrate required hands-on competencies.
• Maintain organized lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Monitor attendance, grades, and progress; provide remediation when needed.
• Create an engaging, professional classroom environment and promote career readiness.
• Collaborate with CPS leadership and other departments; participate in observations and coaching.
