Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CRCST – HSPA or CBSPD certification required.
• Minimum of three years of sterile processing experience.
• Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
• Knowledge of instrument names, functions, and specialty sets.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate education, training, and competency programs for Sterile Processing staff.
• Standardize processes and ensure regulatory compliance to support safe patient care.
• Collaborate with OR and clinical leadership and travel between facilities to support onboarding and performance improvement.
