Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of SPD, OR instrumentation, and sterilization procedures.
• Experience in inventory control and supply distribution is preferred.
• Licenses: CRCST, CSPDT, or CSPM preferred/required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evaluation methods to determine the effectiveness of programs and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Develops and delivers educational programs for SPD staff and coordinates continuing education opportunities.
• Teaches classes in decontamination, sterilization, tray assembly, and OR scheduling; analyzes data to improve competency.
