Job summary

The Education Specialist at Moffitt Cancer Center leads activities to improve professional competence and growth of Sterile Processing team members. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification through CBSPD or IAHCSMM as a Sterile Processing Tech upon hire; maintain certification.
• CHL certification through IAHCSMM within 2 years of hire.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sterile Processing.
• Strong knowledge of IAHCSMM and AAMI recommendations and practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year customer service; 2 years preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; instrument tracking software (Censitrac) preferred.
