Job summary

ProHealth Care is seeking a Central Services Technician to support daily operations in the Processing department and ensure proper handling of items used in patient care.

The role covers decontamination, cleaning, disinfection, assembly and sterilization of devices according to policies. Opportunities to act as a technician as needed and contribute to a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in central services preferred.
• Certification as a Registered Central Services Technician.
• At least 1 year of experience in sterile processing/central services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and workflow of the Processing department.
• Functions as a technician for processing medical and non-medical supplies.
• Decontaminates, cleans, disinfects, assembles and sterilizes items per policy.
• Sterilizes medical/surgical devices used in patient care.
