ProHealth Care is seeking a Central Services Technician to support patient care by processing medical and non-medical supplies, performing decontamination, cleaning, assembly of procedure sets, and sterilization in accordance with policies and procedures.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5+ years of related experience); certification as a Registered Central Services Technician is preferred.
Processesmedical and non-medical supplies used in patient care. Duties including decontamination, cleaning, disinfecting, assembly of procedure sets and equipment.Wrappingitems to be sterilized, and sterilization as policies and procedures indicate. Decontaminates, cleans, processes, assembles and sterilizes medical/surgical devices used in patient care. Transportation of needed equipment to/from its place of use.
