Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a dedicated Sterile Case Cart Tech for full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. No weekends or holidays. The role involves assembling case carts with instrumentation and soft goods, restocking, labeling, and ensuring readiness for the Operating Room.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent; one year of sterile processing or surgical scrub experience is preferred. EOE.

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble case carts according to daily surgical schedules and surgeon preference cards.
• Verify accuracy of instrumentation and soft good supplies in each cart.
• Communicate any missing items or discrepancies promptly.
• Restock case cart areas, sterile cores, and storage rooms as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with SPD and OR staff to ensure timely cart delivery and support.

Seeking Sterile Case Cart Tech!

The Case Cart Tech plays a key role in supporting surgical services by accurately assembling case carts, including both instrumentation and soft goods, based on surgical schedules. This position ensures that all required items are complete, properly labeled, and ready for delivery to the Operating Room. Additional responsibilities include restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the case cart and sterile core areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and assemble case carts according to daily surgical schedules and surgeon preference cards
