Job summary

Baptist Health in New Albany, IN is seeking a Sterile Case Cart Tech for full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. No weekends or holidays, workplace near Louisville, KY, with responsibilities in assembling case carts and ensuring complete, labeled supplies for the Operating Room.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and preferred experience in sterile processing or surgical scrub.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year sterile processing experience or one-year surgical scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull and assemble case carts according to daily surgical schedules and surgeon preference cards
• Verify accuracy of instrumentation and soft good supplies in each cart
• Communicate any missing items or discrepancies promptly
• Restock case cart areas, sterile cores, and storage rooms as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with SPD and OR staff to ensure timely cart delivery and support
