Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Tech for weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am) at the Sterile Processing Department.

The role supports patient care by cleaning, preparing and sterilizing reusable supplies, dispensing materials, and maintaining sterilizer logs and equipment testing, with no holidays. Located in New Albany, IN, near the Louisville area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year sterile processing experience or one-year surgical scrub experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and sterilizes patient care reusable supplies.
• Dispenses reusable and disposable patient care supplies.
• Maintains sterilizer logs and daily testing of sterilizer equipment.
• Reports equipment breakdowns.
