Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area is seeking a Part-time Sterile Processing Tech to join the Sterile Processing Department. The role involves cleaning, preparing and sterilizing patient care supplies, and handling sterilizer logs and daily equipment testing.

The position offers weekend work (Saturday and Sunday 6:30pm-7:00am), with no holiday shifts, and is located at Baptist Health Floyd's facility in New Albany, IN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year sterile processing experience or one-year surgical scrub experience preferred.

• This position cleans, prepares and sterilizes patient care reusable supplies.
• It dispenses reusable and disposable patient care supplies, maintains sterilizer logs and daily testing of sterilizer equipment and reports equipment breakdowns.
