Qualifications

• Completion of the didactic or classroom portion of an accredited sterile processing program.
• Eligibility to complete the clinical portion of the sterile processing program after Hire.
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician within 1 year of hire.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, sterilize, store and distribute reusable devices and instruments.
• Follow facility policies, manufacturer instructions and applicable standards.
• Progressively assume additional responsibilities as training and competency are completed.
