Job summary

Southend Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a Full-Time capacity. This role is critical to maintaining compliance, quality, and patient safety standards within the pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPhT license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, with 1+ years of sterile compounding experience and an active IV sterile compounding certification.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in sterile compounding environments.
• Current IV Sterile Compounding Certification (e.g., ACPE-accredited sterile compounding certification).
• Ability to work required PRN schedule and maintain flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of medication records.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Support compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
