Job summary

Southend Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a Full-Time capacity. This role focuses on maintaining compliance, quality, and patient safety within the pharmacy, located in Texas.

The position requires an active CPhT license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, at least 1 year of sterile compounding experience, and an ACPE-certified sterile compounding credential.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in sterile compounding environments.
• Current IV Sterile Compounding Certification (e.g., ACPE-accredited sterile compounding certification).

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution.
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of medication records.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed.
• Support compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding with precision and adherence to protocols
• Ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution
• Maintain proper documentation and organization of medication records
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish supplies as needed
• Support compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

What We Require

• Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
• Minimum 1+ years of recent experience in sterile compounding environments
• Current IV Sterile Compounding Certification (e.g., ACPE-accredited sterile compounding certification)
• Ability to work required PRN schedule and maintain flexibility
