Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Sterile Pharmacist Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge to run the day-to-day of our sterile compounding operation and lead the team that keeps it accurate, compliant, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role.

You'll oversee daily sterile production, supervise pharmacists and technicians, serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for regulatory purposes, and make sure the operation stays inspection-ready.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy is required.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing; eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in Florida.
• Sterile compounding experience with supervisory or lead responsibility (typically 5+ years).

Responsibilities

• Run daily sterile operations: manage workflow, staffing, batch planning, capacity.
• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge: regulatory compliance and recordkeeping per Florida rules.
• Lead and develop pharmacists and technicians; oversee competency, qualification, and training.
• Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800>, environmental monitoring, and hazard handling.
• Maintain inspection readiness and prepare for Board of Pharmacy inspections.
• Manage deviations, CAPAs, and investigations; keep SOPs current.
