Job summary

The Pharmacy Hub is building a modern sterile compounding operation in Fort Lauderdale, and we’re looking for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to join the team that prepares sterile medications day to day.

In this role you’ll spend your time in the cleanroom doing the hands-on work of sterile compounding, preparing accurate, compliant preparations, verifying prescriptions, and following the SOPs and USP standards that keep patients safe.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing; eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge in Florida.
• Experience with sterile compounding and aseptic processing (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Compound sterile preparations accurately following master formulation and records.
• Verify prescriptions and compounded products for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and USP compliance.
• Follow SOPs and USP standards: garbing, aseptic technique, beyond-use dating, hazardous-drug handling.
• Support environmental monitoring: cleaning, disinfection, and monitoring activities.
• Document thoroughly: maintain batch records, logs, and qualification documentation.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and keep the environment inspection-ready.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and the sterile lead to keep production on schedule.
