Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in preparing medications, maintaining the compounding area, and monitoring inventory. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will assist with IV admixtures, labeling, and quality checks to ensure patient safety.

The role emphasizes adherence to policies, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Minimum education includes high school or GED with preferred IV experience; prior pharmacy tech certification is noted in some

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least one year of IV experience and/or training highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in maintaining laws, accrediting standards and P&Ps.
• Prepare and label medications as allowed by law under supervision.
• Prepare sterile parenteral solutions following aseptic technique and checks by pharmacists.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform physical inventories.
• Maintain and document dispensing records and support QA activities.
