Clarest Health is seeking an IV Pharmacy Technician for our long-term care and post-acute care operations in Melville, NY. You will prepare sterile IV medications, calculate doses, program infusion pumps, and maintain accurate records in a closed-door, non-retail environment.

This role emphasizes precision, safety, and patient care, with occasional evenings and weekend coverage and opportunities for career growth within a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified as a Pharmacy Technician through PTCB or NHA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix sterile IV medications according to prescription orders and standards.
• Calculate medication doses accurately and maintain proper sterile techniques.
• Enter and process IV orders in pharmacy systems.
• Program and prepare infusion pumps for patient use.
• Maintain complete IV compounding records and logs.
• Coordinate shipment of medications and supplies to care facilities.
• Follow all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and team to ensure timely patient care.
