What Good Care Looks Like

Good care is specific. It is the right medication, for the right person, at the exact right time, and someone following up to make sure it actually worked.

That follow-through is where the system usually breaks down, and it is where Clarest steps in. We manage medication for patients across long-term care, assisted living, and at home, building the technology that keeps all three connected so no one gets handed off and forgotten.

None of that happens without the people doing it, which is why we hold ourselves to the same standard with our own. Paid time off increases the longer you are here, life insurance is company-paid, and for associates who enroll in our health plan, a dedicated nurse advocate and no-cost telehealth extend to eligible dependents as well. Careers here move in more directions than most people expect, and many of our leaders started in the roles we are hiring for now.

Drive patients care forward through precision, safety, and IV pharmacy expertise

The IV Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in preparing sterile IV medications, accurately calculating doses, programming infusion pumps, maintaining compounding records, and ensuring the safe delivery of medications, supplies, and equipment to patients and care facilities. Working closely with pharmacists and pharmacy operations teams, you'll help maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and accuracy. Patients, nurses, caregivers, pharmacists, and healthcare facilities all depend on this role to support uninterrupted treatment and exceptional patient care.

Unlike IV Pharmacy Technician roles in retail or hospital settings, this position operates within a closed-door pharmacy environment focused exclusively on serving long-term care and post-acute care communities rather than walk-in customers. You'll work behind the scenes in a specialized sterile compounding operation, preparing IV medications, managing infusion-related equipment, and supporting a high-volume pharmacy service that directly impacts patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to combine advanced technical skills, sterile compounding expertise, and operational problem-solving in an environment dedicated to delivering critical therapies safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

Help deliver safe, accurate IV therapies by combining sterile compounding expertise, operational precision, and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

  • Prepare and mix sterile IV medications according to prescription orders and pharmacy standards.
  • Calculate medication doses accurately and apply proper sterile compounding techniques.
  • Enter and process IV orders within pharmacy systems.

  • Coordinate the shipment of medications, supplies, and equipment to care facilities.
  • Order and manage IV pharmacy supplies from approved vendors.
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and quality checks on pharmacy equipment.
  • Track IV-related equipment and supplies through equipment rental logs.
  • Follow all safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
