Job summary

CAPS®, part of the B. Braun Group in the U.S., is hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Sterile IV Compounding for our Orlando, Florida location. The role involves assisting in the preparation of sterile IV medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requires a Florida Pharmacy Technician license; preferred: PTCB or NHA ExCPT. Schedule is 8:30am–5pm, Monday–Friday with alternating weekends. Salary range $18.54–$24.50 per hour, with benefits including healthcare and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Florida Pharmacy Technician License is required by the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
• National Pharmacy Certification (PTCB or NHA ExCPT) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in setup of compounding room, equipment and supplies.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for quality assurance testing.
