Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking an Instrumentation Coordinator - IRP 2 to oversee daily coordination between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing, ensuring case carts are assembled, decontaminated, sterilized, and delivered aseptically.

The role includes procuring and standardizing instrument trays across the enterprise, supporting process improvement projects, and serving as a clinical liaison across multiple sites, including Ross Heart Hospital and James Cancer Hospital.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of experience in sterile processing.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
• Proven ability to coordinate between OR and Sterile Processing departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities between Operating Room and Sterile Processing to facilitate efficient case flow.
• Oversee decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and case carts.
• Procure and organize instrument trays on a global level for the Enterprise.
