Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Georgia seeks an ESL packaging operator in the Manufacturing department to set up, operate, and maintain sterile filling equipment for extended shelf life products. You will ensure sterility, monitor quality, and document production data to meet Publix and regulatory standards.

The role requires lifting 50+ pounds, multiple shifts, and a strong commitment to GMP and safety. Training for forklift operation and good sanitation practices is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must meet GMPs and safety requirements.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.
• Able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to learn and perform all positions.
• Must be able to operate a forklift after training.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and clean ESL filling equipment.
• Monitor caps, codes, weights, and carton integrity.
• Maintain sterility of ESL filling area and equipment.
• Record daily production data and regulatory information.
• Perform daily CIP and sterilization activities.
• Disassemble and reassemble fillers for cleaning and sterilisation.
