Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking an Equipment Technician to manage patient equipment inventory, support Central Sterile staff, and assist with instrument tracking. The role emphasizes accurate inventory levels, responsive service, and collaboration with clinical teams to meet patient care needs.

The Equipment Technician will also assist with receiving stock, scanning trays, and maintaining par levels, while guiding customers and colleagues in line with Grady’s standards of care.

Qualifications

• 1+ years job-related experience in stocking supplies, equipment cleaning, ordering, basic computer skills and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an adequate inventory of patient equipment and par levels.
• Assist Central Sterile staff and with instrument tracking.
• Provide professional customer service and adhere to Grady policies.
• Answer calls quickly, accurately and professionally.
• Deliver equipment and triage devices for repairs or preventive maintenance.
