Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions seeks a Sterile Compounding Technician to interpret formula worksheets and compound medications under pharmacist supervision. You will prepare sterile products, maintain clean room compliance per USP 797 and USP 800, and document lot numbers, expiration dates, and storage conditions with meticulous care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Read and understand SOPs and guidelines related to the process.
• Registration with Florida DOH as a licensed technician is required upon hire.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Measures, weighs, counts, and compounds medications.
• Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to formulation logs.
• Establishes and maintains accurate patient records by entering correct lot numbers and expiration dates of compounded medications.
• Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Preparation and compounding of sterile products.
• Maintaining the clean room suite to USP 797 and USP 800 requirements.
• Experience with aseptic techniques in BSC and LAFW.
• Capable of Hand Hygiene and Garbing qualification.
• Experience using a repeater pump.
• Inventory management and documentation (labels, logs, reports).
• Clean equipment and sterilize glassware using dry heat ovens or autoclaves.
• Perform to established efficiency metrics while adhering to quality standards.
• Maintain HIPAA patient confidentiality.
