Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions is seeking a Laboratory Technician to prepare and decontaminate equipment and glassware for non-sterile and sterile operations in accordance with USP 795/797/800 guidelines. You will keep work areas organized and perform routine cleaning of corridors.

Responsibilities include distributing supplies, processing requests, maintaining equipment and inventory, transporting compounds, and ensuring safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Training as lab assistant or similar field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Distributes compounding supplies to departments.
• Processes supply requests promptly and cooperatively.
• Maintains inventory control for supplies and instruments.
• Transports finished compounds to fulfillment/quality areas.
• Washes and decontaminates hazardous and non-hazardous equipment and glassware; cleans and restocks areas.
• Maintains equipment through basic operation, calibration, and sterilization where applicable.
• Follows hazardous drug safety and disposal guidelines.
• Cleans CNC areas and transfers materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Training as lab assistant, or similar field a plus

Experience in a maintenance/support role preferably

Ability to successfully prioritize and complete time-sensitive duties

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
