Job summary

American Regent is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician to join the team in Hilliard, OH. The role focuses on training in sterile pharmaceutical production and compounding, under direct supervision, with promotion to Compounding Technician I upon successful completion of training.

You will learn aseptic techniques, operate equipment, and support the manufacturing process while adhering to cGMP, safety, and quality standards. This is an on-site role with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Chemistry or a related science is a plus.
• Ability to work with chemicals handled and dispensed daily.
• Strong chemical handling and mathematical aptitude; able to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to meet Class 100 Certification for sterile compounding/transfer (Hilliard facility) and maintain cleanroom gowning and respirator fit testing.
• Able to read Standard English documents such as SOPs, maintenance schedules and operating manuals.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically weigh and measure materials for formulations.
• Operate formulation equipment including tanks, mixers, and mills.
• Sterilize equipment and materials for aseptic production.
• Prepare materials and components for use in production and assist in cleaning.
• Support materials handling, inventory and production workflow under supervision.
