Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Sterile Compounding Quality Manager to uphold cleanroom quality standards and CSP processes nationwide, serving as the primary quality resource for the assigned area with after-hours support as needed.

The role monitors quality metrics, identifies risks, drives corrective actions, and collaborates with leadership to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements while improving safety and efficiency in sterile compounding operations.

Qualifications

• CSPT certification or BCSP required depending on role.
• Pharmacy licensure or active pharmacist license.
• 7 years infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding experience.
• Experience in training, policy development and corporate office environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide field SME support for cleanroom quality and urgent quality incidents.
• Maintain and review cleanroom quality systems and tools; provide executive summaries.
• Coordinate certifications, microbial monitoring maps, and regulatory alignment.
• Review KPIs and quality systems for trends; develop proactive initiatives.
• Produce standard and ad-hoc quality improvement reports and pharmacy metrics.
• Lead root-cause investigations; manage CAPA plans with leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct quality visits and training; communicate findings to management and regulatory entities.
• Support new cleanroom construction/remodel with procedures and controls.
• Engage with vendors to support field cleanroom quality.
• Develop action plans from inspections and accreditation findings.
• Develop and maintain policies/training materials on sterile compounding quality.
• Collaborate with Clinical Education on training materials for orientations.
