Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our sterile compounding pharmacy team at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Located at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, the position features a Monday-Thursday night schedule in the Wilmington area.

You will prepare medications, assist pharmacists with daily operations, and maintain medication inventory and records while providing friendly, knowledgeable support to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification or relevant experience required.
• 2-year/associate degree preferred; required for validating duties.
• Current state Board registration; PTCB or NHA certification within 60 days of hire or enrollment in pharmacy school.
• Two additional specialized certificates/certifications from approved vendors (PTCB, NHA, etc.) or additional NC validating tech credentials within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications.
