Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Kennett Square, PA for a 13-week contract to hire. You will prepare compounded medications under pharmacist supervision in a USP-compliant facility.

Responsibilities include reading prescriptions, documenting formulas, maintaining logs, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting timely fulfillment for shipments or patient pickup.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Sterile compounding experience is required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to USP and regulatory guidelines for sterile and non-sterile compounding through training and competency evaluations.
• Accurately read and interpret prescriptions, entering orders into the pharmacy system.
• Prepare and compound medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in preparing formula log sheets and ensure proper documentation for compliance.
• Measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications with precision.
• Maintain inventory control of ingredients, equipment, and PPE.
• Support batch compounding, product labeling, and documentation verification.
• Facilitate timely fulfillment and preparation of compounded prescriptions for shipping or pickup.
• Maintain thorough records of compounded products and related activities.
