Job summary

RPh on the Go in Bensalem, PA is seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist for a contract role focused on sterile compounding in a controlled environment. The position requires a PharmD, active PA license, and at least one year of sterile compounding experience.

You will prepare IV medications, verify sterile preparations, ensure USP compliance, supervise pharmacy technicians, and maintain cleanroom equipment. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with an approximate 8+ week duration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent sterile compounding experience.
• Active and clear PA pharmacy license.
• Proficient with computer systems and pharmacy software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customized sterile medications such as IV fluids using strict aseptic techniques.
• Verify sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Enforce compliance with USP and other relevant standards.
• Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technicians assisting in sterile compounding.
• Maintain and clean cleanroom equipment regularly.
• Perform final inspections on compounded preparations prior to distribution.
