$27.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in sterile compounding and intake coordination. This dual-role position supports both the technical preparation of IV medications and the administrative intake of patients to ensure fast, accurate initiation of infusion therapy.
Job Responsibilities
Sterile Compounding: Prepare sterile IV admixtures in accordance with USP and aseptic technique. Perform calculations and obtain pharmacist verification before compounding. Maintain cleanroom and compounding area sanitation according to policy. Label medications and document batch records, lot numbers, and expiration dates. Assist in supply picking, inventory tracking, and cleanroom maintenance.
Intake Coordination: Collect and verify patient demographics, prescriptions, and insurance details. Communicate with prescribers to obtain documentation for prior authorizations. Coordinate with patients to confirm therapy details and delivery preferences. Track and document all intake activity using pharmacy software (CareTend). Ensure timely transition from intake to pharmacist review and compounding.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of sterile compounding experience required. Active Pharmacy Technician License in Oregon required. National certification (CPhT) preferred. Strong understanding of sterile compounding procedures and aseptic technique. Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills. Comfort using pharmacy software and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
