Job summary

Beacon Clinic in Idaho is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician with intent to be trained in sterile compounding. This role offers a flexible, meaningful career with advancement opportunities in our oncology-focused clinic.

You will prep IV chemotherapy and pre-medications, dispense IV medications, maintain records, verify orders, manage inventory, and assist with insurance verifications. Idaho license required; certified tech preferred; oncology terminology experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with regulatory agencies and written reports.
• Upholds ethics in medical science and human subjects.
• Works well with others in team-driven environment.
• Experience in sterile compounding; chemotherapy experience preferred.
• Capable of wearing required PPE during compounding.

Responsibilities

• Prepares IV chemotherapy and pre-medications.
• Dispenses chemotherapy and IV meds to patients and supports the dispensary.
• Maintains accurate records of medications, supplies and transactions.
• Ensures physician orders are processed promptly.
• Manages inventory and anticipates medication and supply needs.
• Assists with grants, prior authorizations, and insurance eligibility and verification.
• Displays professionalism and strong customer service and communication skills.
• Complies with procedures, rules and health and safety policies.
