Job summary

Compass Oncology in Tigard, Oregon is seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician to prepare, admixture, and deliver injectable medications under physician supervision in a clinic admixture room. This full-time role requires 1–3 years hospital or clinic pharmacy experience, with a strong preference for oncology admixture and Oregon/Washington licensure; travel between clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician training required.
• Pharmacy Technician license for Washington and/or Oregon strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medication orders by compounding or admixing injectable medications under supervision of a physician.
• Float to other clinical sites depending on departmental need.
• Verifies patient information and provider authorization of medication orders.
• Reviews all medication orders for insurance approval before admixing medications.
• Counts controlled substances and maintain records; maintains inventory and logs.
• Maintains drug information, MSDS, and ensures proper disposal of medications.
